Who are we, and what do we do.

BMA is an ecological consultancy borne from a passion for the maintenance of Australia’s biodiversity. We specialise in research, planning and management of biodiversity assets, particularly terrestrial threatened species and ecological communities. BMA aims to facilitate the collaboration of specialist skillsets to find positive and enduring conservation outcomes for stakeholders.

We engage outstanding conservation ecologists and natural resource management practitioners, to understand biodiversity issues and navigate towards outcomes that meet the requirements of biodiversity maintenance and align with Australia’s policy ambitions in environmental law.

We provide conservation ecology and assessment services to all tiers of government and the private sector including conservation, forestry, infrastructure, energy, agriculture, residential development, mining and tourism.

BMA provides professional and ethically based advice on biodiversity conservation matters. We engage with problem solving ecologists who are not shy of scientific or pragmatic innovation.
